Shalimar Garden It is one of the most important Moghul
gardens in the city. The Shalimar Garden, which lies in
the suburbs of the city, was once the first-night staging
post for the Moghuls on their way to Kashmir and Lahore.
In 1658, Aurangzeb was crowned emperor here.
